Session Description:
This 30-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A, is a great introduction to Harvard Medical School's, Program in Medical Education (PME), the organizational structure housing education programs that lead to the MD degree. The offices of the PME are responsible for all aspects of medical student education, from admission to graduation, including oversight, development and management of the MD curriculum, student services and support, educational quality improvement, educational space planning and development, and development and review of educational policies.

This presentation will highlight the curricular organization and pedagogical approaches at HMS as well as different faculty opportunities available through the offices of Program in Medical Education (PME), Health Sciences & Technology (HST), and Scholarly Projects. In addition, faculty will learn more about current restructuring of the HMS Academy and membership.

We encourage attendees to review our website before arriving to better facilitate engagement and allow more time to ask questions. https://meded.hms.harvard.edu/program-medical-education
