DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Description:</strong> <span>This 60-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute Q&amp;A, introduces the HMS/HSDM CV Generator, an online application that helps current HMS and HSDM appointees create, maintain, and securely store their curriculum vitae. Participants will learn how to start a new CV or import an existing CV using the Harvard Faculty of Medicine format, manage their information, and export a properly formatted CV at any time. The session will also review key requirements and best practices for using the CV Generator.</span></p><p><strong>Prerequisites:</strong></p><ul><li data-list-item-id="ec13aab7d00985dcb17ccd6021b29465e"><span>An active Harvard ID number and HarvardKey</span></li><li data-list-item-id="eb22146432aa8a54028e0af166bcb32f6"><span>A desktop or laptop computer (the system is not currently optimized for mobile viewing)</span></li><li data-list-item-id="e494504b6be6c26559b6eec1e2d2a06f7"><span>For importing an existing CV, a .docx document following the 2022 Faculty of Medicine pre-formatted template</span></li></ul><p><strong>Intended Audience:</strong></p><ul><li data-list-item-id="e163aa81ba61381c9b991af94fdf208b4"><span>Current HMS/HSDM faculty, Clinical and Research Fellows, and Associates</span></li><li data-list-item-id="e78cb23217b20bb4ff584a42412597261"><span>Administrative professionals who assist with faculty CVs</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Please note</strong> that the CV Generator and Harvard Faculty of Medicine CV format are designed for HMS/HSDM appointments and may not be appropriate for trainees or applications for positions outside of Harvard Faculty of Medicine.</span></p>
