The significance of faculty development to the missions of Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Dental Medicine was highlighted in the 'Framework for Action' presented by the [HMS Task Force on Faculty Development and Diversity](https://hms.harvard.edu/departments/office-academic-clinical-affairs/hms-task-force-faculty-development-diversity) in November 2010.

In response, the Office for Faculty Affairs aims to support the academic advancement and career satisfaction of our 12,000+ faculty, offering an array of annual faculty development programs, seminars, presentations, including one-on-one CV review meetings conducted upon request.
