The Faculty of Medicine is comprised of all faculty of both [Harvard Medical School](https://hms.harvard.edu/) and [Harvard School of Dental Medicine](http://hsdm.harvard.edu/). Our large and distinguished faculty committed to leadership in alleviating human suffering caused by disease. The School’s main quadrangle -- located in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area is comprised of dozens of labs, classrooms and offices. Our faculty teach not only medical, dental and graduate students, but also research and clinical fellows appointed in the basic and social science departments as well as at our 15 affiliated institutions. These trainees include interns, residents, clinical fellows, and postdoctoral fellows.
