BIO Dr. Lomax is Program Director for Academic Affairs in the HMS Office for Faculty Affairs (OFA), where she focuses on faculty promotion and recruitment, as well as career advising and faculty development. She joined the OFA in December 2015 after previously working in project management and business development in the biopharmaceutical industry. There, she designed and managed preclinical studies and oversaw industry-academic partnerships. She was also a founding project manager for the Reproducibility Project: Cancer Biology, a large-scale collaboration to improve reproducibility in biomedical research. She completed her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she focused on protein engineering and structure-function analyses of putative biologic drugs, as well as the creation and characterization of novel mouse models.
