BIO Joined the Office for Faculty Affairs in the summer of 2013 after serving as a faculty member in the Department of Neuroscience at Pomona College in Claremont, CA.  He was formerly a member of the Harvard Community as a post-doctoral fellow with Dr. John Dowling and a lecturer in the  Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, and helped to establish the Neurobiology Concentration as the inaugural Concentration Advisor.  He was also a research fellow with Dr. Douglas Cotanche and then a Staff Scientist in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement at Boston Children’s Hospital.  He completed his PhD at Washington University in St. Louis, studying sensory hair cell death in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Warchol, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.
