Tara L. Lauriat, Ph.D.
BIOTara joined the office in 2017 after working in both medical education and research for the past several years. She received her PhD in Biomedical Science from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2007 after completing her undergraduate education in Neuroscience at Drew University. Her research has focused primarily on the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders using both molecular and neuroimaging approaches. Prior to joining the office, she spent five years as the coordinator for the Psychiatry Residency Program at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center where she was responsible for managing residents, medical students, and physician assistant students. She also served on the Institutional Review Board at St. Elizabeth’s for seven years.
